Rogue River Fall Chinook Salmon are on the move
The Rogue River has been kicking out some nice Chinook, its been a tough bite for most , but the for the average folks, they all have Salmon in the fridge. "Mike the Blues Man Murphy" blows into town , and things are picking up for him , with a good limit of 20 pounder's. Bill Diven's from www.salmonkinglodge.com joined us today for a fun packed day, Bill and his Wife Julie are going to call the Lower Rogue @ Gold Beach their new home for the coming years, and we welcome them to our area with open arms , Bill will bring years of Guiding with a fly rod, to our Steelhead and his love of the chase on Spring and Fall Chinook. Bill is catching on real fast on the river as Julie is putting the final touches on their new home, just steps away to a boat ramp. The water temps are steady at 68.4 f , and have been for a few days, Ive went to a few Rivers this week , and there's been a decent bite from river to river, Coos and the Coquille are ready to start kicking out numbers of fish, don't miss the great fishing on the Southern Oregon Wild River's Coast, cause if you wait too long, Summer will be over and the Silvers will already be in, and I'll be getting the urge to head to the woods for our winter meat, talk with all of you soon, good fishing .......... and tight lines Boss
